In a nationwide broadcast to mark the nation’s 58th Independence Anniversary a short while ago, President added that the occasion calls for sober reflections, as it comes on the eve of the start of the general election cycle.
He implored Nigerians to reflect on what unites, stressing that as citizens we have every right to look forward to the future with confidence and optimism.
While stating that the nation’s economy is being revived, President Buhari said terrorism and corruption will be further tackled. He equally urged Nigerians to unite in halting the use of the social media to spread hate massages.
President Buhari promised that the Independent National Electoral Commission, will be supported to conduct free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria.
