The National Judicial Council has recommended the dismissal of two judges accused of corruption by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The judges are James Agbadu-Fishim of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria and Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court.   According to the National Judicial Council, the decision to recommend the sack of the two judges, was taken after reviewing the allegations against them.

The NJC rejected the voluntary retirement of another judge, Justice Joshua Ikede of the Delta State High Court, among other decisions.
